200 years of experience

All though it wasn’t called dialogue then, Danmission has been engaged in conversations and common projects with people of other faiths and cultures ever since the first missionaries took off and the Danish Missionary Society was founded in 1821. Today we are present in 12 countries in Africa, Asia, The Middle East besides Denmark, and we work with dialogue in between cultures and religions every day.

Head, heart and hand

There is much more to dialogue than just words. Dialogue can be practiced with both head, heart and hand. In Danmission we gather religious leaders to led them introduce them their beliefs to each other. But we also invite people of different faiths to join each other’s ceremonies or rituals – and we put a lot of effort into diapraxis engaging for example Christians and Muslims in common projects.
